Bringing
Hearts
& Homes Together.

As part of this groundbreaking new program, our ReeceNichols agents work tirelessly to find the perfect home for you. Each home purchased or sold with a Gold Key Agent allows a family with a hospitalized child to stay one night at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. So when you and your agent close on your forever home, you help a local family.

Meet Alexis

When 10-year-old Alexis Black fell off a swing, her arm ached – and then it didn’t get better. Eventually, X-rays revealed the real source of her pain: osteosarcoma.

Alexis’s parents, Michelle and Justin, thought they’d have to sleep in their car or split up their family of seven while Alexis was treated at Children’s Mercy Kansas City.

But thanks to RMHC-KC, they all had a place to stay. Doctors replaced Alexis’ cancerous bone with a fibula from her leg, and after a few months of chemotherapy, she’ll be home for good.

Why ReeceNichols + RMHC-KC?

Since 1905, ReeceNichols has been dedicated to finding the perfect homes for families in the Kansas City area. The homebuying and selling process requires a thorough understanding of client needs, and ReeceNichols agents use their unique blend of expertise, loyalty and motivation to foster strong relationships and create success for the families they serve.

RMHC-KC was founded in 1981. Its mission is to reduce the burden of childhood illness on children and their families. When a sick child undergoes treatment at a Kansas City hospital, RMHC-KC provides their families with comfort and convenience in the form of housing and resources – allowing them to stay close to their kids while they receive medical care.

ReeceNichols + RMHC-KC’s shared values and commitment to finding families homes makes for the perfect partnership, bringing hearts and homes together for a greater purpose. RMHC-KC serves 87 families on any given night, and through the Gold Key Project, ReeceNichols and RMHC-KC hope to make an even greater difference in the Kansas City community.
